The Pioneer's Club

A Place for All The Old-Timers to Get Together

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this site a function of RG&E?
A: No, this web page and the various functions listed here are created as a labor of love by your fellow employees. RG&E has no direct involvement in these functions.

Q: How do I qualify for the Pioneer's Club?
A: That's an easy question.  Originally you had to be an RG&E Employee (either active or retired) with 35 years of service.  Today all you need to be is a present or former RG&E Employee (or contractor).

Q: Does RG&E supply any help?                                                                     A:  Yes, RG&E maintains the address lists for all the retired RG&E employees and assists with the postcard mailings announcing the picnic. We need your help in contacting everyone else.

Q: How do I (or friends) join the Club?                                                        A: Just Click Here and we'll e-mail you/them a form.

Q:  What about an Ex-Employee Newsletter?                                                A:  We attempt to send out a monthly newsletter. Since we don't charge dues (and the post office does!) these issues are sent via email.

Now we're always looking for stuff to put in the next issue of the newsletter.  If you have anything you feel would be of interest, or just a remembrance of things RG&E, just email us by Clicking Here .

If you'd like to be a regular reporter or columnist, Click Here .

Past issues of the newsletter can be found by Clicking Here.

Q: How do I get a picture/Retirement Party Information on the Web Page?      A: Just send the picture(s)/Information electronically (via e-mail) by clicking here

Q: It keeps telling me I don't have a viewer installed when I try to visit some areas.

A:  Those files are stored in a PDF format for easier storage and viewing. A free Adobe Reader must be installed to view them.  You may get one by clicking here. That will take you to the Adobe web site.
