Russell Station

Some cool pictures of old Rochester

This is an early reminder of an upcoming event.

The members of the RG&E Armed Forces Club will hold a remembrance service, for those individuals who were RG&E Employees, who gave up their jobs to defend American values in WWII, the Korean War, and in Vietnam.

The short service will consist of lowering the flag to half staff, reading the names of those individuals who did not return, and placing a wreath at the base of the flag pole where a plaque honors their sacrifice.

The service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11:00 am.

We hope you will be able to attend, The motto of the Armed Forces Club is, “Lest we Forget.”  They gave their lives for us. The least we came do is thank them

Special thanks goes to Vinnie Pulmeri for these trips down memory lane.

Rochester was a great city at one time. Maybe it will return to that greatness.
