Well it’s Here!

 

This year’s Annual Picnic is next month.  By now you should have received an email with all the details (or a Post Card if we don’t have an email address for you.)

 

Here are the details again for you.

 

Thursday,   August 7, 2014

 

at the Barnard Exempt Party House, 360 Maiden Lane from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM with food available from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

 

The cost is $10 per person.

 

Refreshments may be purchased at the bar. Information is available on the web at www.ThePioneersClub.org under “Coming Events”, or from Arnie Stockslader, at (585) 544-1789. 

 

Payment in advance by check. Please send a check for $10 per person, made out to

Now the good news

 

As you must have noticed the price went down this year. Well where did the extra money come from? As Arnie promised when were started the 50/50 raffle, we would share the proceeds with you guys.

 

So with a little planning (Arnie’s stingy.) He was able to apply the kitty to the ticket price.

 

Now let’s get serious.

 

At the bottom of the announcements was the statement:

 

“We are looking for a couple individuals to continue planning the annual picnic”

 

For the last 9 years Arnie and I have toiled on your behalf, to try and provide a time and place for our membership to get

together and socialize.

 

It is time for new blood in the planning. This is the last picnic Arnie and I will be hosting. We have enjoyed all the years of your fine company. Thank you for all your support.

 

Arnie and I will help the new team “get their feet wet.” for 2015.

 

If no one steps up to the plate, then this will be the last Pioneer’s Picnic.
