May Birthdays

I received an email about the health and welfare of a one of our members. I’ll pass it along for your information. I don’t have any history in my Pioneers Club database about his work location and such.

Dear Tom,

Thanks for all the work you do for the Pioneers Club.

Just want to pass the word that Dan Altre (Electric T&D Engineering) is in a nursing home called Aaron Manor, Penfield Rd behind the big Wegmans (rt 441).

He is wheelchair bound but is in good spirits and enjoys good conversation (and laughs at my jokes, most of the time). I'm sure he would be delighted if some of the troops from RG&E stopped by to visit..

This is really sobering. Click on the link and find the city you went to high school and look at the names. Click on the name and it will give details of the death.

Vietnam Wall
1.2782568395@web84102.mail.mud.yahoo.com

First click on a state. When it opens, scroll down to the city and the names will appear.

Then click on their names. It should show you a picture of the person, or at least their bio and medals.

This really is an amazing web site. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to create it.

I hope that everyone who receives this appreciates what those who served in Vietnam sacrificed for our country.

Pass the link on to others, as many knew wonderful people whose names are listed.

Memorial Day

Since this month contains Memorial Day, I thought I would include this information Vinnie Plumeri sent me.

That’s all Folks!

There might be a lot going on this month, but I was not made privy to those events.

If you want something published in this newsletter just send me an email at: thclegg@thclegg.com.

Remember I do have a deadline of about one week to get everything included. So I usually start putting it together in the last week of the month

This months newsletter went out to 557 email address this month and that’s not counting word of mouth to those individuals who don’t have email.

Plus I get depressed only sending out Obituaries during the month. Send me some happy news and I’ll forward it on.
