Rick and Gwen Shorter

Composer, producer and recording artist - Rick Shorter - and his wife, professional recording artist, former actress and model - Gwen Shorter - combine their talents to bring you music that breaks through the confusion of our changing world. Rick began his show biz career composing music and producing records for Columbia, MGM, and Decca Records. He went on to become the musical coordinator of the Broadway musical, "Hair."

Gwen Shorter began her professional career performing in many of New York's popular night spots, moving on to perform at New York City's Aplollo Theater. Other facets of her successful career include modeling, TV actress as well as recording a number of well-known songs.

After leaving New York City, Rick and Gwen established their own recording and publishing companies. Rick composes the music which he and Gwen sing and record. Their desire is to encourage others to find hope and strength to cope with the challenges of life - mentally, physically and spiritually.

Their latest CD "... should'a been home by now!" is Rick and Gwen's sincere effort to bring healing to the hearts torn by the pain of loss due to the attack on America, Sept. 11, 2001. Those who were lost will never be fogotten. To our heroes - we salute you. Even those who may not have suffered a personal loss that day will share in the loss, hope and courage of those who did - and in heart felt agreement say, "should'a been home by now!"
