Circle of Friends celebrates the
“Colors of Christmas”

Circle of Friends is proud to announce the release of its second CD, “Colors of Christmas.” “Colors of Christmas” celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ in musical styles ranging from Classical to Jazz, Gospel to Contemporary. The CD features original compositions by members of the group as well as exciting new arrangements of traditional Christmas music. “God Comes Near” is a vibrant new work written by Bruce McDaniel and Kevin Lieb that reminds us of the message of peace brought to us two thousand years ago. A surprising instrumental arrangement of “Angels We Have Heard on High” reveals the jazzy influence of Vince Guaraldi. The powerful Gospel song “Special Gift” is a testimony to God’s love for everyone. Greg Bogoshian’s “In the Arms of the Babe” is a warm instrumental reflection reminiscent of the first Circle of Friends CD, “Autumn Stroll.”
