My father was a soldier and we lived in many places growing up, including
Northern Virginia, Panama, and Northern Illinois, where my folks are from.
I got my first guitar in tenth grade and it went in the closet after a few
weeks and for the most part stayed there. In my early twenties my interest
re-awoke after hearing and seeing some of the great fingerstyle and
flatpick guitarists.
In my late twenties, I started to write some tunes, a few of which I still
play. Through my forties I composed a few pieces every year, and over the
last several years, people have asked me if I had recorded any of it. So
here is some of it, dedicated to all the great people I have lost touch
with, and the ones I still know. I hope you enjoy it.
