are....... The Chowderheads! 

Originally performing together for private parties, clambakes (hence the name) and guest appearances at benefit functions. The Chowderheads are bowing to demand and expanding their availability. As an acoustic based party band, they have a combined song list that covers ANY request (the best music from the 50's right up to today's most popular tunes - pop, country, Beatles, Buffet, Elvis, Irish, folk, oldies, sing-a-longs, originals, you name it). On stage it's obvious they're having a blast - and that's sure to guarantee a great time for their many loyal fans. Along with their vocal abilities and on-stage banter, The Chowderheads play a variety of instruments - Al Keltz has an array of guitars (including pedal steel) and banjo, Peg plays guitar, mandolin, penny whistle, bodhran, and the occasional accordion. Jeff plays guitar and supplies the percussion too! There's a lot of music in this three piece group (they've also been known to have guest musicians join them on stage). Whether performing solo or with a combination of other musicians, individually Jeff Elliott, Peg Dolan, and Al Keltz have played every venue in Rochester as well as throughout Upstate New York and beyond - from pubs to cruises to ski resorts to festivals to conventions, and including stints in Bermuda, The Pocono Mountains, the Thousand Islands, Canada, and Florida - it's easy to see (and hear) why together they are so popular! In addition to careers on stage, each Chowderhead is a veteran Dynamic Recording artist with not only their own CDs and tapes, but guest appearances on a number of other artists' productions too.
