Don Springer and Richard Hood
bring decades of experience in old time and bluegrass music to the
stage with a show based deep in the roots of bluegrass. Using a variety
of instruments (many vintage) and styles, the "boys" perform and
explain the music that is the bedrock for today's country and bluegrass
forms. Guitars, mandolin, banjos, autoharp, banjeurine, fine expressive
vocals, and humorous exchanges with the audience make up a complete
(and educational) entertainment package.

Here is a great quote from the Mountain Express in Asheville, North Carolina: "A Bristol Brothers show is a lively, informed trip through old-style acoustic music...not only do the Brothers play like the dickens, they weave stories about the history of the music and the old-time instruments throughout their sets."
Mountain Express Asheville, NCMulti-instrumentalist duo The Bristol Brothers Don Springer and Richard Hood ---have championed old-time mountain music and bluegass so long you'd think they started it. These fellas are a piece of Americana that routinely needs to be enjoyed or at least referenced so that musically, culturally, we don't forget from where it is we came. Frank De Blase
